A Wide Matt-Black Fireplace

The smooth matt-black Noir fascia gives the Celena a wider and more defined appearance. Its simple shape also works well with modern furniture, dark feature walls and neutral interior colours.

Meanwhile, the glass front keeps the flame and fuel-bed display neat and enclosed. As a result, the Celena Noir creates a strong focal point without looking cluttered.

Colour Smart Flame Effects

The Colour Smart system provides 16 preset lighting modes. In addition, you can customise the colours across the flames, woodland logs and glowing ember bed.

Therefore, you can choose a natural fire appearance or create a brighter, more colourful display. This flexibility also helps the fire suit different room lighting and interior styles.

Adjustable Flame Speed

The adjustable flame-speed control changes the movement of the flame effect. For example, select a faster speed for a lively display or choose a slower setting for a calm and relaxing effect.

Together with the Colour Smart options, this feature gives you greater control over the finished appearance of the fire.

Woodland Logs and Glowing Embers

The fuel bed uses detailed woodland-effect logs over a glowing ash-effect ember bed. The logs feature natural-looking shapes and textures, while the lighting beneath them adds warmth and depth.

Therefore, you can enjoy the appearance of a log fire without storing wood, removing ash or maintaining a chimney.

Flame-Only Setting

You can use the flames and fuel-bed lighting without switching on the heater. Consequently, the Celena Noir can remain an attractive feature throughout the year.

For example, use the flame-only mode during spring or summer when you want the appearance of a fire without adding heat to the room.

Heat Output and Thermostatic Control

The Flavel Proflame Celena Noir provides a heat output from 0.9kW to 1.8kW. Therefore, it can supply useful supplementary warmth in a suitable room.

The thermostatic controls help maintain the temperature you select. As a result, the fire can manage its heat output while reducing unnecessary heating.

However, the Celena Noir should not replace a correctly sized main heating system where full-room or whole-home heating is required.

Remote, App and Voice Control

The supplied multifunction handset lets you control the fire from your chair. Alternatively, you can use the manual controls on the appliance.

For added convenience, download the compatible Flavel Smart App to a suitable iOS or Android device. You can then manage key functions from your smartphone or tablet.

The fire also supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Once you complete the required app and smart-home setup, you can operate compatible functions with voice commands.

Suitable for Feature Walls and Media Walls

The Celena Noir can form part of a correctly designed feature wall or media-wall installation. Its wide fascia and glass-fronted fire work well below a television or as a separate room feature.

However, plan the complete installation before building the wall. Consider the position of the television, soundbar, shelves, ventilation openings and electrical connections.

Most importantly, make sure heat from the appliance cannot damage equipment installed above it. Always follow the clearance distances shown in the current Flavel instructions.

Installation Guidance

• Read the complete manufacturer’s instructions before installation
• Check the fascia, fire-box and opening dimensions separately
• Allow the recommended rear ventilation gap
• Build the recess from suitable materials
• Make sure the wall and fixings can support the fire
• Install the appliance level and secure
• Keep the heater inlet and outlet clear
• Keep the plug or electrical isolation point accessible
• Do not position the appliance directly below a socket
• Do not use an extension lead
• Do not connect the fire through an external timer or smart plug
• Arrange fixed electrical work through a qualified electrician
• Use a suitably competent person to complete the installation

If you install the fire inside an existing chimney breast, make sure the chimney is dry and correctly capped. In addition, follow Flavel’s instructions for reducing unwanted chimney draughts and heat loss.

Electrical and Operating Safety

Keep curtains, furniture and other items away from the heater outlet. Furthermore, never cover the fire or block its ventilation openings.

Always switch off and isolate the appliance before cleaning or inspection. Then allow the fire to cool completely.

If the cable, plug, glass or another component becomes damaged, stop using the fire and contact a suitably qualified technician.

Cleaning and Maintenance

First, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the electrical supply. Next, wait until the fire has cooled.

Clean the glass, fascia and outer surfaces with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. However, avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and strong chemicals because they may damage the matt-black finish.

Also remove dust from the air inlet and heater outlet regularly. This simple maintenance helps the fire operate safely and efficiently.

Three-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty

The Flavel Proflame Celena Noir comes with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty, subject to Flavel’s warranty terms and conditions.

Register the appliance if required and keep your proof of purchase. Correct installation, normal domestic use and suitable maintenance may also affect warranty cover.

Why Choose the Flavel Proflame Celena Noir?

The Celena Noir combines a wide matt-black fascia with a compact glass-fronted fire. Therefore, it creates a strong focal point without requiring the space needed for a large panoramic electric fire.

Furthermore, Colour Smart lighting lets you personalise the display. Remote, app and voice controls also make the fire easy to operate every day.
