Product Description

Flavel Proflame SL Autograph Black Nickel & Black Electric Fire

Model: FPFSABRE

Enjoy a realistic fire effect in a shallower fireplace installation with the Flavel Proflame SL Autograph Black Nickel & Black Electric Fire. This slimline, glass-fronted fire combines woodland-effect logs, glowing embers and natural-looking flames with a smart plated-steel fascia.

The slimline fire box projects less than the full-depth Proflame Autograph. Therefore, it offers a practical choice for rooms and fireplace openings where installation space is limited.

You can control the fire manually, with the supplied remote handset or through the Flavel Smart App. Furthermore, it works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for convenient voice control.

Dimensions

Autograph Fascia Dimensions

• Fascia width: approximately 498mm
• Fascia height: approximately 599mm
• Fascia depth: approximately 67mm

Fire Box Dimensions

• Fire-box width: approximately 488mm
• Fire-box height: approximately 595mm
• Fire-box depth: approximately 162mm
• Inset installation depth: approximately 70mm
• Fuel-bed projection: approximately 42mm
• Fixed spacer depth: approximately 50mm

Important: The correct published fire-box depth for model FPFSABRE is approximately 162mm. The 70mm figure refers to the inset installation depth. The 86mm depth sometimes found online relates to a different Ultra SL fire rather than this Proflame SL model.

Always check the latest Flavel dimension drawing before preparing the fireplace opening.

Slimline Glass-Fronted Design

The Proflame SL uses a slimmer fire box than the standard full-depth Proflame Autograph. Therefore, it can suit fireplace openings where less depth is available.

Its glass front also keeps the fuel-bed display enclosed and provides a clean, modern appearance. As a result, it works well in both smaller rooms and larger living spaces.

Black Nickel and Black Fascia

The Autograph fascia uses high-quality plated steel with a black nickel outer finish and contrasting black details.

The darker metallic finish adds depth without the brightness of polished chrome. Therefore, it works well with modern surrounds, neutral interiors and black fireplace accessories.

Woodland Log Fuel Bed

The slimline fuel bed contains detailed woodland-effect logs over glowing ash-effect embers. The logs recreate the appearance of natural wood, while the lighting underneath adds warmth and depth.

Therefore, you can enjoy the look of a log fire without storing fuel, removing ash or maintaining a chimney.

Dual-Colour Flame Effect

The fire offers natural-coloured flames as well as electric-blue highlights. You can display the natural effect on its own or combine it with blue flames for a more modern appearance.

Furthermore, the adjustable flame-speed setting changes the movement of the flame effect. Choose a quicker speed for a lively display or select a slower setting for a calm and relaxing look.

Flame-Only Setting

You can enjoy the flame and fuel-bed display without switching on the heater. Therefore, the Proflame SL can remain an attractive fireplace feature throughout the year.

The energy-saving LED lighting also helps keep the running cost of the visual display low.

Heat Output and Thermostatic Control

The Flavel Proflame SL Autograph provides a heat output from 0.8kW to 1.6kW. As a result, it can provide useful supplementary warmth in a suitable room.

The thermostatic controls help maintain your selected temperature. Therefore, the fire can reduce unnecessary heating while keeping the room comfortable.

However, the appliance should not replace a correctly sized main heating system where full-room or whole-home heating is required.

Remote, App and Voice Control

The supplied multifunction handset lets you adjust the fire from your chair. Alternatively, you can use the manual controls on the appliance.

For added convenience, download the compatible Flavel Smart App to a suitable iOS or Android device. You can then manage key functions from your smartphone or tablet.

The fire also supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Once you complete the required app and smart-home setup, you can operate compatible functions with voice commands.

Installation Options

The Proflame SL Autograph is designed for installation in a suitable fireplace opening or surround. Its 70mm inset rebate helps reduce the depth that must sit behind the fascia.

However, the complete fire box measures approximately 162mm deep. Therefore, check the full product dimensions as well as the inset measurement before installation.

An optional spacer frame may offer another fitting option where the available recess is limited. Nevertheless, confirm the required spacer, opening and fixing method before ordering.

Installation Guidance

• Read the complete manufacturer’s instructions before installation
• Check the fascia, fire-box and inset dimensions separately
• Make sure the fireplace opening suits the appliance
• Install the fire on a strong, level and secure surface
• Keep the heater inlet and outlet clear
• Allow the ventilation space stated in the instructions
• Keep the plug or electrical isolation point accessible
• Do not install the fire directly below a socket
• Do not use an extension lead
• Do not connect the fire through an external timer or smart plug
• Arrange fixed electrical work through a qualified electrician
• Follow all instructions supplied with the appliance

Electrical and Operating Safety

Keep curtains, furniture and other items away from the heater outlet. In addition, never cover the fire or block its ventilation openings.

Always switch off and isolate the appliance before cleaning or inspection. Then allow the fire to cool completely.

If the cable, plug, glass or another component becomes damaged, stop using the fire and contact a suitably qualified technician.

Cleaning and Maintenance

First, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the electrical supply. Next, wait until the fire has cooled.

Clean the glass, fascia and outer surfaces with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. However, avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and strong chemicals because they may damage the finish.

Also remove dust from the air inlet and heater outlet regularly. This simple maintenance helps the fire operate safely and efficiently.

Three-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty

The Flavel Proflame SL Autograph comes with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty, subject to Flavel’s warranty terms and conditions.

Register the appliance if required and keep your proof of purchase. Correct installation, normal domestic use and suitable maintenance may also affect warranty cover.

Why Choose the Flavel Proflame SL Autograph?

The Proflame SL combines a shallower glass-fronted fire box with realistic logs, glowing embers and smart controls. Therefore, it offers a practical alternative to a full-depth open-fronted electric fire.

Furthermore, the black nickel and black fascia gives the fire a smart finish. The flame-only setting, remote, Smart App and voice controls also make it easy to enjoy throughout the year.
