6mm Stove Rope Thermal Seal is used for sealing and jointing purposes where a temperature resistance is required. It is commonly used when jointing flue systems to the appliance and also as a seal around the inside of stove doors.

6mm Stove Rope Specification:

• Supplied per metre, just add quantity and we will cut to length for you.
• Rope Thickness – 6 mm
• Rope Glue optional 50ml Reeds
• Medium density stove rope, perfect for stoves.

We supply medium density rope as we find this ideal for stoves, it is firm and will last, we find the soft rope others use is far too springy and you can stretch it to half again in length as it has no substance to it.

How To Install Your New Rope

Clean away any old rope and remove and loose metal from the locating channel. Apply Fire Rope Adhesive following instructions on the container. Press Fire Rope firmly into channel, then cut Fire Rope with scissors to finish with an end to end butt joint. Allow 1 hour before closing doors.
