Medium-density rope is our preferred choice for stoves due to its firmness and durability. Our observations are that the soft rope utilized by others is too spring-like, and it can be stretched to twice its original length due to its lack of substance. Rope and adhesives are produced exclusively in the UK because we are a UK company.

8mm Stove Rope Specification:

• Supplied per metre, just add quantity and we will cut to length for you.
• Rope Thickness – 8 mm
• Stove rope heat resistant end tape
• Fitting intruction card
• Rope Glue – If you require adhesive please add this from the drop down above.
• PLEASE NOTE: If you plan on purchasing more than 3 meters, we suggest purchasing additional adhesive.

How To Install Your New Rope

Clean away any old rope and remove and loose metal from the locating channel. Apply Fire Rope Adhesive following instructions on the container. Press Fire Rope firmly into channel, then cut Fire Rope with scissors to finish with an end to end butt joint. Allow 1 hour before closing doors.
