Never use single-wall vitreous enamel stove pipe to pass through walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, cupboards or concealed spaces. Instead, use a suitable tested and insulated chimney system wherever the flue passes through part of the building structure.

Planning the Flue Route

First, measure the distance between the appliance outlet and the next component. Next, allow for the overlap at every joint. Finally, check that the completed route will provide enough clearance and suitable support.

This pipe adds approximately 445mm to the assembled flue route. Therefore, do not calculate the installation using its full 500mm overall length.
