What Is a 45 Degree Flue Elbow with Door?

A 45-degree elbow changes the direction of a connecting flue by 45 degrees. For example, it can help move the flue around part of a fireplace opening or align the pipe with a chimney connection.

Correct Installation Direction

Fit the elbow with the male or smaller-diameter end pointing downwards towards the appliance. The female end should face upwards towards the chimney.
