Model: FPFLASRE

Bring the classic look of an open fire into your home with the Flavel Proflame Arcadia Black & Silver Electric Fire. This stylish inset fire combines a robust cast-iron fascia with realistic woodland-effect logs, glowing fuel-bed lighting and natural or blue flame colours.

Furthermore, you can control the fire using the supplied remote handset, the manual controls or the Flavel Smart App. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Therefore, you can adjust the fire without leaving your seat.

Classic Fireplace Style with Modern Control

The Flavel Proflame Arcadia offers the appearance of a traditional open fire. However, it does not need a chimney, gas supply or stored fuel. As a result, it provides a simple way to add a classic focal point to a suitable room.

The strong cast-iron fascia gives the fire a traditional character. Meanwhile, the black and silver finish adds a brighter decorative detail that works well with many fireplaces and surrounds.

Realistic Woodland Log Fuel Bed

The deep fuel bed contains detailed woodland-effect logs designed to recreate the appearance of natural wood. In addition, lighting beneath the logs creates a warm glow across the fuel bed.

The fire also offers a choice of natural-coloured flames or a dual-colour effect with electric-blue highlights. Therefore, you can change the display to suit the room, time of day or mood.

Adjustable Flame Speed

You can change the speed of the flame effect. For example, choose a quicker flame for a lively display or select a slower setting for a calmer look.

You can also use the flame effect without switching on the heater. Consequently, the Arcadia can provide an attractive fireplace display throughout the year, including warmer months.

Heat Output and Thermostatic Control

The Flavel Proflame Arcadia provides a heat output between 0.8kW and 1.6kW. Therefore, it can supply useful supplementary heat in a suitable room.

The thermostatic controls help maintain a comfortable room temperature. Once you select the required setting, the fire manages its heat output to improve comfort and reduce unnecessary heating.

However, the fire should not replace a correctly sized main heating system where full-room or whole-home heating is required.

Remote, App and Voice Control

The supplied multifunction handset lets you adjust the heat, flame display and other settings remotely. Alternatively, you can use the manual controls on the fire.

For added convenience, download the compatible Flavel Smart App to a suitable iOS or Android device. You can then control key functions from your smartphone or tablet.

The fire also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. As a result, you can operate compatible functions with voice commands after completing the required app and smart-home setup.

Installation Options

The Arcadia is an inset electric fire designed for a suitable fireplace opening or surround. Its 70mm inset rebate can help reduce the amount of installation space needed behind the fascia.

However, the full fire engine measures approximately 192mm deep. Therefore, check the complete dimensions as well as the inset depth before installation.

An optional spacer frame can offer another installation choice where the available recess is limited. Nevertheless, confirm the required opening, spacer arrangement and fixing method before ordering.

Installation and Electrical Safety

• Read the manufacturer’s instructions before installation
• Check all fireplace-opening dimensions before ordering
• Install the fire on a firm, level and suitable surface
• Keep the heater inlet and outlet clear
• Do not cover the fire or block its ventilation openings
• Keep curtains, furniture and other items away from the heater outlet
• Do not use an extension lead
• Do not control the fire through an external timer or smart plug
• Keep the electrical connection accessible
• Arrange fixed electrical work through a qualified electrician
• Follow the installation and safety instructions supplied with the fire

Always isolate the electrical supply before cleaning, moving or inspecting the appliance. Furthermore, allow the fire to cool fully before touching areas close to the heater outlet.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Before cleaning, switch off the fire, disconnect it from the electrical supply and let it cool. Then wipe the fascia with a clean, soft cloth.

Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and scouring pads because they may damage the finish. In addition, keep the air inlet and outlet free from dust to support safe and effective operation.

Do not open or repair the fire yourself. Instead, contact a suitably qualified technician if the fire becomes damaged or develops a fault.

Three-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty

The Flavel Proflame Arcadia comes with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty, subject to Flavel’s terms and conditions.

Register the appliance where required and keep your proof of purchase. Correct installation, use and maintenance may also affect warranty cover.

Why Choose the Flavel Proflame Arcadia?
