The Potterton Gold GOLD6 6kW Electric Boiler provides heat for a wet central heating system without gas, oil, a flue or a fuel-storage tank. Its slim and lightweight design makes it a practical choice when installation space is limited.

This electric heat-only boiler works with standard radiators. In addition, it can operate in either a sealed or open-vented heating system with suitable external controls and components.

Please note: Product code 94022004 is the radiator version. It is not the dedicated underfloor-heating model. Potterton lists a separate 6kW underfloor boiler under product code 94022104.

Compact Electric Heating

The GOLD6 produces a maximum rated heat output of 6kW at 240V. Therefore, it can suit apartments, smaller properties, extensions and well-insulated buildings where a heating engineer has calculated a suitable heat loss.

However, you should not choose the boiler from the number of bedrooms or property size alone. Insulation, windows, construction, room sizes and local temperatures all affect the required output.

Heat-Only Electric Boiler

The Potterton GOLD6 heats water as it circulates through the boiler. The system then sends the heated water through radiators to warm the property.

Electrical Requirements
