Product Description
TWPro 125mm Adjustable Wall Support 100–210mm – Matt Black
Model: 58-125-053
Secure a 125mm TWPro insulated chimney to an external or internal wall with this adjustable matt-black wall support. The bracket provides lateral support while allowing the installer to position the chimney between approximately 100mm and 210mm from the wall.
The bracket allows a small amount of sideways adjustment, which helps the installer align the chimney accurately with the rest of the flue route.
This wall support provides lateral restraint only. It does not carry the vertical weight of the chimney. Use the correct load-bearing base support, wall support plate or other structural component where the system needs vertical support.

What Does This Wall Support Do?
The bracket holds the chimney at a set distance from the wall and controls sideways movement. Therefore, it helps keep a vertical external chimney straight and stable.
The adjustable arms allow the installer to alter the distance between the wall and chimney. As a result, the flue can clear gutters, roof overhangs, window ledges, pipework and uneven wall surfaces.
The support also allows a small amount of lateral movement during positioning. This feature helps the installer line up the chimney before tightening the bracket fully.
Lateral Support Only
This bracket must not carry the vertical weight of the chimney. It only provides lateral restraint and helps stop the flue moving towards, away from or across the wall.
A vertical chimney system may require a load-bearing support at its base or at other points along the route. For example, an external system may use a base wall support beneath a tee.
Therefore, do not replace a structural support with this adjustable wall bracket. The installer must calculate the chimney load and select the correct TWPro load-bearing components.
100mm to 210mm Wall Adjustment
The support provides an adjustable stand-off range from approximately 100mm to 210mm. Therefore, it offers around 110mm of total adjustment.
This range allows the installer to position the chimney further away from the building where necessary. However, always check the product drawing to confirm how the manufacturer measures the stand-off distance.
The installation must also maintain the required clearance from combustible materials. The wall-support adjustment does not reduce or replace that safety distance.

Important Diameter Information
The stated 125mm size refers to the internal diameter of the TWPro chimney. It does not refer to the pipe’s outside diameter.
TWPro uses approximately 25mm of insulation around the inner flue. Therefore, a pipe with a 125mm internal diameter has an outside diameter of approximately 175mm.
This wall support fits around that larger external casing. As a result, it will not fit a standard 125mm outside-diameter pipe.
TWPro and KW Compatibility
This support is designed for the TWPro chimney system, which may also carry KW branding in the UK. It fits the external dimensions of the matching 125mm internal-diameter pipe.
Do not use this bracket with another twin-wall chimney brand unless the manufacturers confirm compatibility in writing.
Different systems can use different external diameters even when they share the same stated internal flue size. Therefore, a support labelled 125mm from another range may not fit TWPro pipe correctly.
How Often Should Wall Supports Be Fitted?
Fit lateral wall supports at intervals of no more than approximately 3 metres, unless the TWPro installation guide requires closer spacing.
The first support position, total chimney height, number of bends and exposure to wind can all affect the required spacing. Consequently, some installations may need additional brackets.
Always add suitable support near offsets, tees and other points where the chimney changes direction or experiences extra sideways force.
The phrase “every 3 metres” describes a maximum spacing, not a target that suits every installation. A competent installer must design the final support arrangement.
Choosing the Correct Wall Fixings
Select wall fixings that suit the building material and the forces placed on the bracket. For example, solid brick, blockwork, concrete, timber framing and hollow walls may need different fixing systems.
Do not use lightweight plugs or general-purpose fixings without checking their suitability. Instead, choose corrosion-resistant structural fixings with an appropriate load rating.
The wall surface must also remain sound and capable of supporting the bracket. If the masonry has cracks, weak mortar or a loose finish, repair it or choose a stronger fixing position before installation.
Wall fixings are not universal. A competent installer must select the correct type, size and quantity for the actual building surface.
Installation Guidance
First, plan the complete chimney route and identify the required distance from the wall. Next, check that the support can achieve the required stand-off within its 100mm to 210mm adjustment range.
Mark the bracket position on a sound structural surface. Then drill and secure the support with suitable load-rated fixings. Keep the bracket level while tightening the fixings.
Position the chimney inside the wall band and adjust the arms until the pipe runs vertically. Use the limited sideways adjustment to fine-tune its alignment. Finally, tighten every fixing and check that the band holds the pipe firmly without distorting the outer casing.
After installation, confirm that the chimney remains correctly supported and that each TWPro pipe joint has fully engaged.
Do Not Use the Bracket to Pull the Chimney into Position
The chimney should line up naturally before the installer tightens the wall support. Do not use the bracket to force a badly aligned pipe towards the wall.
Excessive force can place stress on pipe joints, bends and adaptors. Therefore, adjust the chimney route or use the correct support range if the pipe does not align correctly.
The bracket should restrain a correctly positioned chimney rather than correct a major installation error.
Supporting Chimneys with Bends and Offsets
Bends and offsets create sideways forces within a chimney route. Therefore, provide suitable lateral support above and below the change in direction.
A 30° or 45° offset may need more support than a straight vertical run. In addition, the installer must consider the weight of the pipe above the offset.
This wall support controls lateral movement but does not carry that vertical load. Use a suitable load-bearing support where required.
Suitable for Internal and External Installations
The matt-black wall support can form part of an internal or external TWPro chimney installation.
For an external chimney, it helps keep the vertical pipe secure against the building. However, the installer must consider wind exposure, chimney height and the permitted unsupported length above the highest bracket.
For an internal installation, the support can restrain a visible chimney section against a suitable wall. Maintain all required clearances from combustible surfaces and other heat-sensitive materials.
Distance to Combustible Materials
The relevant TWPro T600 G50 chimney arrangement requires at least 50mm between the insulated pipe and combustible materials.
However, the adjustable wall support does not create an automatic 50mm safety clearance. The installer must measure the actual distance from the chimney’s outer casing to the nearest combustible material.
Combustible materials can include timber, roof structures, insulation, furniture and other heat-sensitive products. Furthermore, plasterboard may form part of a timber structure and should not automatically count as non-combustible.
Do not fill the required air gap with insulation unless the manufacturer supplies a tested component for that exact purpose.
System Approvals
When installers use this support as part of a correctly specified TWPro chimney, the complete system may carry the following approvals and classifications:
- HETAS approved system
- CE marked
- EN 1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50
- EN 1856-1 T200 P1 W V2 L50040 O20
These classifications apply to the tested chimney system and relevant installation arrangement. They do not mean the wall bracket carries flue gases or contains chimney insulation.
Maintenance and Inspection
Inspect the support as part of routine chimney maintenance. Check the wall fixings, adjustable arms, band and matt-black finish for corrosion, movement or damage.
External brackets face wind, rain and changing temperatures. Therefore, inspect them regularly and after severe weather.
Tighten loose components where appropriate. However, replace any support that becomes badly corroded, bent or insecure.
Also inspect the wall around each fixing point. Cracked masonry, loose render or damaged timber can reduce the strength of the installation.
Why Choose TWPro?
TWPro offers matching supports for different stand-off distances and chimney layouts. Therefore, installers can select a bracket that suits the required wall clearance without using improvised extensions.
The matching matt-black finish also creates a consistent appearance with TWPro pipes, bends and fittings. In addition, the adjustable design makes accurate chimney alignment easier.
Using the correct branded support helps keep the pipe secure while maintaining compatibility with the chimney’s outside diameter.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size TWPro pipe does this support fit?
It fits TWPro pipe with a nominal internal diameter of 125mm and an approximate outside diameter of 175mm.
How far can it hold the chimney from the wall?
The bracket provides an adjustable stand-off from approximately 100mm to 210mm. Check the product drawing to confirm the manufacturer’s measurement points.
How much adjustment does the bracket provide?
It provides approximately 110mm of front-to-back adjustment, plus a small amount of sideways alignment.
Does this bracket carry the chimney’s weight?
No. It provides lateral support only. Use a suitable load-bearing component to carry the chimney’s vertical weight.
How often should I fit a wall support?
Fit supports at intervals no greater than approximately 3 metres. However, exposed routes, offsets and other installation details may require closer spacing.
Are the wall fixings included?
Check the supplied contents before installation. In every case, the installer must select fixings that suit the building material and required load.
Can I use it on an external chimney?
Yes. It can laterally support a correctly designed external TWPro chimney. The installer must also consider wind loading and the chimney height above the highest support.
Will it fit another twin-wall chimney brand?
No compatibility should be assumed. This support fits TWPro and compatible KW pipe, and other systems may use different outside diameters.
Does the 50mm clearance include the wall-support distance?
No. The installer must measure the actual distance from the pipe’s outer casing to the nearest combustible material. The bracket adjustment does not replace this requirement.
Is the support itself insulated?
No. This is a mounting bracket. The insulation sits inside the compatible TWPro chimney pipe, not inside the wall support.
What is the product model?
The product model is 58-125-053.
