Secure a vertical TWPro chimney to an external wall with this 125mm adjustable twin-wall support bracket. The bracket provides lateral support and lets you position the chimney approximately 80mm to 137mm from the wall.

Its adjustable design helps accommodate gutters, roof overhangs and uneven wall surfaces. In addition, the matt-black finish matches TWPro black twin-wall pipe and fittings.

Please note: this bracket provides lateral support only. It does not carry the vertical weight of the chimney.

Adjustable Wall Clearance

The adjustable arms let the installer set the distance between the building surface and the chimney. Therefore, the bracket can help the flue clear small obstacles while maintaining a straight and secure route.

Before ordering, measure from the finished wall surface to the required position of the chimney. Also allow for the chimney’s approximate 175mm outside diameter and its required clearance from combustible materials.

Lateral Support Only

This wall bracket controls sideways movement and helps keep the chimney vertical. However, it does not support the chimney’s vertical load. Consequently, the installation may also require a suitable base support, wall support plate, ceiling support or other load-bearing component.

Install wall supports at intervals of no more than 3 metres unless the TWPro instructions or site conditions require closer spacing. Additional support may also be necessary near offsets, changes of direction or exposed sections.

Compatibility

This bracket fits the 125mm internal-diameter TWPro twin-wall system. Because the system contains 25mm of insulation around the inner flue, its main outside diameter measures approximately 175mm.

This support only fits compatible TWPro and KW Flue pipe and fittings. It is not interchangeable with other twin-wall chimney brands. Never mix different systems unless the manufacturer confirms compatibility in writing.

Installation Guidance

Fix the bracket to a strong and suitable building surface. In addition, use fixings that suit the wall construction and the loads created by the chimney and local wind conditions.

Do not rely on lightweight cladding, render or insulation to support the bracket. Instead, secure the fixings into a suitable structural surface. If necessary, ask a qualified professional to specify the correct anchors.

Next, adjust both arms evenly so the chimney remains vertical. Then tighten every fixing securely and check that the bracket grips the pipe without damaging its outer casing.

Wall supports do not replace structural load-bearing components. Therefore, the complete chimney design must include the correct supports for its height, weight, offsets and exposed sections.

Clearance from Combustible Materials

The TWPro chimney system carries a G50 designation at T600. As a result, the system requires a minimum declared clearance of 50mm from combustible materials under the stated test conditions.

However, the adjustable distance from the wall does not automatically confirm a compliant installation. Wall construction, roof details and nearby materials must all be considered. If another part of the installation requires a greater clearance, always follow the greater distance.
