How to Fit a New Stove Rope Seal

1. First, make sure the appliance is completely cold.
2. Remove the old rope and adhesive from the seal channel.
3. Next, clean away all dust, grease and loose material.
4. Shake the bottle thoroughly to mix the contents.
5. Apply an even bead of adhesive directly into the clean channel.
6. Then, press the new rope seal firmly into position.
7. Leave the adhesive for at least 15 minutes before closing the door.
8. Finally, follow the product and appliance instructions when heating the stove to cure the adhesive.

For the best result, avoid stretching the rope while fitting it. In addition, ensure that the rope ends meet neatly without leaving a gap in the seal.
